How are Shifora prices worked out?
Each price is the live market value of the metal in the piece, plus a fixed making charge, any stones, and our craftsmanship & service. The metal value is the net weight in grams multiplied by today's rate for its purity. Every product page shows this breakdown, and prices include 3% GST.
Why does the price change during the day?
Gold, platinum and silver are priced from the live market rate, which moves through the day. The price is locked the moment you place your order.
Which metals can I choose?
Most designs are made in 22KT, 18KT and 14KT gold (yellow, white or rose), platinum 950 and 925 sterling silver. Each product page lists the metals available for that design with the price of each.
Does the ring size change the price?
Yes. A larger size uses more metal, so the weight and the price follow the size you choose. The product page shows the weight and price for every size before you order.
How do I find my ring size?
Measure a ring that fits you, or wrap a strip of paper around your finger and measure its length. Our Journal guide "Find your ring size at home" explains both methods with a size chart.
Is Shifora jewellery hallmarked and certified?
Gold and platinum pieces are hallmarked for purity, and diamonds come with a grading report from IGI or GIA where stated on the product page.
Where is Shifora jewellery made?
Every piece is cast, set and polished by hand by our karigars in Surat, Gujarat, India, the city where most of the world's diamonds are cut.
Do you deliver across India?
Yes. We deliver to every PIN code in India, insured for the full value. You choose the courier at checkout and see the charge before you pay.
Is GST included in the price?
Yes. Prices on shiforaa.in include 3% GST, and you receive a GST invoice (GSTIN 24AFPFS0705N1ZO). There is nothing more to pay on delivery.
How can I pay?
By card through Stripe: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, RuPay, Apple Pay and Google Pay. A 4% card processing fee is added and shown before you pay.
Can I return a piece?
Yes. You can return an unworn piece in its original condition and packaging within 14 days of delivery. Write to us first, and we refund the price of the piece within 10 working days of receiving it.
How long does delivery take?
Pieces in stock leave our atelier within a few working days; made-to-order pieces take longer and the product page says how long. Delivery times for each carrier are shown at checkout.
Can I see my piece before it ships?
Yes. We offer a private video call with our atelier to see your piece before it ships. Write to info@shiforaa.com to book it.
Do you have a store for India and one for other countries?
Yes. shiforaa.in is our India store, with prices in rupees including GST and delivery within India. shiforaa.com is our international store, with prices in your own currency (US dollars, euros, pounds, UAE dirhams, Canadian dollars, Mexican pesos, Brazilian reais and more) and delivery worldwide.
